Iphone 13 is coming, and people in several countries like USA, Japan and Australia have already been able to buy the stuff. In Indonesia, it's sales was just started last week. Before you guys decide to buy the phone, I want to tell you some information worth to consider.
The latest iphone has some killer features really, you can say that. Its camera is far beyond par, even for the cheapest type which is 13 mini. The speaker is satisfying. No headphone jack sure but turns out that we can buy headphone with cable that can be plugged into the ligthning port (the price is much more affordable than airpods thingy). The phone also supports 5G which perhaps is not so useful in developing nations, but here in Melbourne-Australia it is kind of a big deal although not all places in this state provide the 5G signal.
I bought this phone (mini version) last month during the harsh lockdown. To buy is simple, I just needed to put my order online when the pre-order was opened. It took about 1 week before the phone could be picked up. After a while using this phone, I can tell you that the best feature of the iphone 13 is not the camera or its A15 processor chip (they are all great by the way). The ultimate feature of the phone in my personal opinion is the text extraction that enable us to copy and paste text from images, either captured by the camera, saved from messages or downloaded from internet.
This feature is really helpful for me for example when I need to record my colleagues' bank account numbers, save contact number my friend sent me through snapshots instead of sending contacts, as well as take notes of quizes my lecturers gave on zoom (all I need to do is just capture the quiz window and then use the text extraction feature). The text extraction button is located at the very bottom right of the image. When some texts are clear enough it usually appears automatically.
Almost all things in phone 13 are just perfect, including the battery life! The battery is not great actually but still capable to support the phone's operation most of the day. In my experience, It is dying at around 23 o'clock when I fully charging the phone at 6 o'clock in the morning. To mention, I don't do gaming much on the phone so perhaps the experience will be different among people (I just do several times of clash royale battles). But, yeah I think the 13 is the best iphone so far, a high jump from 12 version if you count the battery life, thus there is not so many reasons for not buying it.
